“It’s My Park” Volunteer Event March 7

Workers needed for Deep Eddy Spring TLC

Twice per year the Friends of Deep Eddy, Austin Parks Foundation and Austin Parks and Recreation join to spruce up, beautify and renew the grounds around our beautiful pool.  This Spring volunteers will gather the morning of Saturday March 7th. The Austin Parks Foundation, as part of “My Park Day,” provides resources and will deliver a dumptruck-load of mulch to the parking lot which we will shovel up, wheelbarrow around, spread under tree canopies, and rake into place. It’s great exercise to counter-balance your swimming muscles!  Learn more and sign up for a free t-shirt when you register here. 

Bring work gloves…and if a wheelbarrow and shovel if you have them!
